Hello guys, how are you all doing? In this post, we are going to dive into Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 9. This chapter is absolutely crucial as Jura has finally infiltrated the village and located Himawari. However, he wasn't exactly looking for her, he was hunting for the Nine-Tails, Kurama.
Jura is confused. He states that he was searching for Naruto Uzumaki, but instead, he found this little girl. Despite her appearance, he senses the exact chakra of Naruto coming from her. This revelation sets the tone for the chaos that ensues in Konoha.
The Confrontation in Konoha
Shikadai, sensing the danger, contacts the sensory team for backup. He realizes that the enemy standing before them is not the Sasuke Uchiha they knew; his chakra feels completely different. Shikadai demands an explanation for their invasion.
Jura, almost mocking them, expresses his own frustration at finding a child instead of his target. Cho-Cho and Shikadai are baffled by his claims about the Nine-Tails chakra. Jura decides he has had enough of the confusion and uses Wood Style to capture Himawari instantly.
Team 10 vs. Jura
Team 10 immediately springs into action. Shikadai uses his Shadow Paralysis Jutsu, while Inojin employs his Super Beast Scroll to rescue Himawari from Jura's grasp. Their coordination is impressive, and even Jura compliments their teamwork.
However, Jura makes it clear that his only target is Himawari Uzumaki. He warns them to step aside or face death. Shikamaru, communicating via Ino, is shocked to learn that the enemy is after the Nine-Tails, which was supposed to be dead.
Boruto vs. Kawaki
Meanwhile, Boruto and Kashin Koji are observing the situation from Orochimaru's hideout. Sensing the danger, Boruto uses the Flying Thunder God technique to teleport back to the village. However, before he can reach Himawari, he is intercepted by Kawaki.
Kawaki confronts Boruto, ignoring the greater threat to the village. Boruto tries to reason with him, explaining that the village is in danger and that the enemies are targeting Himawari. Kawaki, blinded by his obsession, attacks Boruto with his scientific ninja tools and black rods.
Boruto effortlessly dodges Kawaki's attacks and lands a powerful punch to his stomach, sending him flying. Boruto chides Kawaki for his lack of training, asking if he has slacked off for the last three years.
Karma Resonance and Retreat
Frustrated, Kawaki activates his Karma. This triggers a resonance with Boruto's Karma, causing it to activate involuntarily. The toad with Boruto warns him to leave immediately because he might lose control to Momoshiki.
Realizing the danger of losing control, Boruto is forced to retreat from the village, leaving the immediate defense to others. Kawaki is left confused, wondering why Boruto can't control his Karma.
The Return of Kurama
Back at the battle with Team 10, Jura prepares a devastating Tailed Beast Bomb-like attack. Cho-Cho manages to deflect the aim at the last second, causing a massive explosion but saving the team. Inojin flies them to safety, but they are exhausted and outmatched.
While escaping, Himawari enters a mental plane. There, she encounters a mini version of the Nine-Tails. The fox greets her, "Hello, little girl. Do you know who I am?" Himawari recognizes him as the Nine-Tails.
This cliffhanger confirms that Kurama has been reborn within Himawari, explaining why Jura sensed Naruto's chakra in her. This twist changes everything for the future of the series!
