Boruto 2 BV Ch4: Sasuke Clone Fights Boruto !

Hello guys, how are you all doing? In this post, we are going to talk about Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 4. This is arguably the most important chapter so far. The story picks up right where Chapter 3 left off, with Code retreating to his base after being hit by Boruto's Uzuhiko Rasengan.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 4 EXPLAINED

Code arrives at his hideout where the Ten-Tails is kept. He is still reeling from the effects of Boruto's attack. Despite Boruto's warning that the Ten-Tails is dangerous and needs to be eliminated, Code refuses to listen. He stubbornly believes he can control it, dismissing Boruto's threats as nonsense.

Boruto Teleports to Code

We then see the toad that was with Boruto earlier. It had traveled with Code to his base, acting as a beacon. The toad tells Boruto to hurry because they don't have much time. Boruto acknowledges this, admitting he isn't as skillful as his grandfather, Minato, but he's ready.

Boruto uses the Flying Thunder God technique (Hiraishin) to teleport instantly to Code's location. Code is completely shocked to see Boruto appear out of nowhere. Boruto immediately looks for the Ten-Tails, but it is gone. The toad is also confused, as the beast was there just moments ago.

Boruto senses a very disturbing chakra in the air. He realizes he is too late. Suddenly, a new enemy appears behind him. Code initially thinks it is Bug, but Boruto corrects him, stating that Bug is already trapped in a tree. This new entity is a "Shinju" or Divine Tree clone.

The Rise of the Shinju

The Shinju attacks Boruto with immense speed and power. Boruto barely manages to block the strike using Lightning Release but realizes this enemy is stronger than anyone he has faced recently. He quickly uses Flying Thunder God again to teleport near Code, who is currently paralyzed by the lingering effects of Uzuhiko.

Boruto decides to show mercy and deactivates the Uzuhiko technique on Code. He tells Code to stand up and help him fight this new threat. However, Code is confused and asks what is happening. Boruto explains that the people turned into trees have evolved into these self-aware Shinju clones.

A floating Shinju leader (Jura) declares that they will devour all life on the planet to create a Chakra Fruit. Another female Shinju, resembling Moegi, mocks Code for his failure. Then, a third Shinju appears, and the situation looks dire for Boruto.

Sarada Defends Boruto in Konoha

Meanwhile, back in Konoha, Shikamaru and Kawaki are discussing Boruto's disappearance. Kawaki correctly deduces that Boruto used a space-time ninjutsu to follow Code. They suspect Boruto might be working with Code, but Sarada steps in to defend him.

Sarada calls them stupid for doubting Boruto. She explains that Boruto saved the village and drove Code away. Kawaki argues that Boruto is an Otsutsuki and therefore an enemy that must be killed. Sarada cleverly retorts that Kawaki is also an Otsutsuki, shutting him down completely.

Shikamaru intervenes, focusing on the victims trapped in the trees. Sarada argues that since Boruto knows more about these trees, they should help him. She convinces them that since Code is the enemy of the village, and Boruto is fighting Code, Boruto should be considered an ally for now.

Boruto vs. The Sasuke Clone

Back at the hideout, Boruto faces off against the Shinju. One particular clone steps forward to attack him. This clone bears a striking resemblance to Sasuke Uchiha. They clash, with the clone using Chidori and Boruto countering with Rasengan.

The Moegi-clone uses Earth Style to trap Boruto. Boruto asks for Code's help, but Code betrays him, choosing to flee while the Shinju are distracted with Boruto. Left alone, Boruto is in a critical situation. The toad urges him to escape immediately.

Boruto manages to teleport away just in time using the Flying Thunder God technique. The Shinju vow to hunt him down, stating that devouring him is their destiny. Boruto arrives at a safe location, exhausted.

The Shocking Reveal: Sasuke's Fate

At his safe house, Boruto is greeted by Kashin Koji. Koji warns him not to push himself too hard or he might get himself killed. Boruto apologizes, realizing how dangerous the situation has become.

The chapter ends with a heartbreaking reveal. As Boruto sits down, we see a tree behind him. Trapped inside that tree is none other than Sasuke Uchiha. Boruto looks at the tree and says, "Sorry, you'll have to wait a little longer, Uncle Sasuke."

This cliffhanger confirms that Sasuke sacrificed himself to save Boruto and has been turned into a tree, which explains the existence of the Sasuke-Shinju clone. This chapter was absolutely intense, and the stakes have never been higher!
