The chapter starts exactly where we left off, showing Sarada standing her ground, looking just as cool as her time-skip design. Then, the scene shifts to the main confrontation: Boruto standing fearlessly right in front of Code. The tension between them is immediate and intense.
Boruto Confronts Code
Code looks at Boruto and admits he didn't expect Boruto to show up so quickly. Boruto, looking calm and collected, gives Code a chance to walk away. He tells Code to take his army of monsters and leave Konoha immediately.
Boruto even offers to let Code leave alive if he complies. Code, obviously angered by this arrogance, asks what Boruto is talking about. Boruto reminds him of the beating he gave Code two years ago, implying he spared him then.
Code laughs it off, refusing to retreat. Boruto then warns him that if he doesn't leave, he will lose more than just his left eye this time. It seems Boruto has already taken revenge for Kawaki in the past.
Boruto turns to Sarada and tells her to step back and protect the village while he handles Code. Sarada is hesitant but Boruto assures her they will talk later. This level of confidence suggests Boruto has achieved a new level of power during the time skip.
Team 10 and Kawaki's Entrance
The scene shifts to the other characters defending the village. Shikadai uses his Shadow Paralysis Jutsu to stop the Claw Grimes, while Cho-Cho attacks with her expansion jutsu. It is a classic Team 10 formation.
Suddenly, a Claw Grime attacks Cho-Cho from a blind spot. Inojin swoops in to save her with his Super Beast Scroll. Himawari is also there fighting, but her bird gets destroyed, and she begins to fall.
Just as a monster is about to eat Himawari, Kawaki arrives like Superman to save the day. He kicks the monster away with immense force. Kawaki tells Himawari and Inojin to get out of his way, maintaining his usual cold attitude.
Surprisingly, the monster Kawaki kicked possesses a Rinnegan. This is shocking because the Rinnegan is essential for controlling the Ten-Tails. It seems Code has merged his powers with the Ten-Tails to create these new creatures.
The Horrifying Truth of the Claw Grimes
The battle continues, but the monsters prove resilient. Kawaki uses his Karma to blast one away, but more keep coming. Shikadai notes that there seems to be no end to them. Back with Boruto, he is slicing through the monsters with incredible speed.
Boruto's swordsmanship is on display as he cuts down multiple enemies in the blink of an eye. He warns Code again that these creatures are dangerous tools that could spiral out of control. Code dismisses them as mere tools he can replace.
Meanwhile, Sarada is fighting to protect the village using Chidori and Fireball Jutsu. A shinobi praises her strength, but he is suddenly bitten by a Claw Grime. In a horrifying twist, the shinobi turns into a tree instantly.
Code reveals the terrifying nature of his army. If a Claw Grime bites someone, they turn into a tree. Eventually, these trees will give birth to new evolved beings, totally separate from their human hosts.
Boruto's New Technique: Uzuhiko
Boruto understands the threat. He tells Code that he has enhanced these monsters too much and it will spell doom for the planet. Code doesn't care; his only goal is to cultivate the Divine Tree, regardless of the destruction it causes.
Realizing words won't work, Boruto decides to get serious. He declares he will kill Code for the sake of the world. Wind begins to gather around Boruto's body in a vortex.
He unveils a new technique called "Rasengan Uzuhiko." It looks incredibly cool and powerful. The chapter ends on this massive cliffhanger as Boruto moves to attack Code. The fighting in this chapter was intense, and we can't wait for the next one!
