Boruto 2 BV Ch6: Mitsuki Fights Boruto

Hello everyone! In this post, we are going to break down Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 6. This chapter is absolutely crucial as it marks a turning point for Shikamaru and sets up an intense battle between friends. The story picks up three years after the events where Boruto left the village.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 6 EXPLAINED

Shikamaru, who is now acting as the Hokage, is seen seeking advice from the village elders. The elders are furious that Boruto, whom they believe killed the Seventh Hokage, has returned to the village and then escaped again. They demand that Boruto be eliminated immediately because he poses a threat to Kawaki.

Shikamaru's Suspicion

Shikamaru listens to the elders but seems deep in thought. While the official stance is to hunt Boruto, Shikamaru is starting to doubt the reality he remembers. Later, Ino brings him a report about the recent attack by Code. Shikamaru looks troubled and decides to do something risky.

He asks Ino to establish a telepathic connection, but with a strict condition: no one else must hear it, not the detection team, not Eida, nor Kawaki. He realizes that something is wrong with his memories and the history of the village, and he needs to find the truth without alerting the "omnipotent" eyes watching him.

The Shinju's Confusing Targets

Meanwhile, Kawaki is with Eida and Daemon. Eida reveals disturbing news about the self-aware Ten-Tails clones, the Shinju. She explains that they are not just acting on instinct but have specific targets. The most shocking revelation is that their leader, Jura, is targeting Naruto Uzumaki.

This confuses Kawaki immensely because, in his altered reality, Naruto is supposed to be dead (or rather, he knows he sealed him away). The fact that the enemy is targeting "Lord Seventh" makes Kawaki uneasy. Eida also mentions she is a target, which scares her.

A Heartwarming Reunion

The scene shifts to Boruto, who meets with Sarada and Sumire. The reunion is emotional, with Sarada remembering the last time they were together. Sumire breaks the ice, happy to see Boruto safe. Boruto jokes that he had to suppress his chakra to avoid detection by Kawaki.

Boruto then drops a bombshell about Sasuke. Sarada asks about her father, and Boruto reveals that Sasuke has been absorbed by a Divine Tree. He explains that Sasuke sacrificed himself to save Boruto and is now trapped, which is why Boruto is wielding his sword and cape.

Mitsuki Attacks

Suddenly, the reunion is cut short. Mitsuki, fueled by his misplaced devotion to Kawaki (whom he thinks is Boruto), attacks Boruto with his snakes. Boruto reacts quickly, using his sword to deflect the attack. He realizes he can't fight here without endangering the village.

Boruto uses the Flying Thunder God technique to teleport away from the village. Before leaving, he promises Sarada that he will save Sasuke and everyone else who has been turned into a tree. He flies off, hoping to lead Mitsuki away from the populated areas.

Shikamaru Contacts Boruto

While Boruto is in mid-air, Shikamaru connects to him via Ino's mind transmission. Boruto is surprised but wary. Shikamaru reveals that he suspects his own memories are fake. He has pieced together Amado's evidence and the inconsistencies in the village's history.

Shikamaru asks the ultimate question: "Are you Boruto Uzumaki?" This is a massive moment as the Hokage finally starts to see through the Omnipotence. Boruto is hesitant to answer, knowing the risks, but the conversation is interrupted.

Boruto vs. Mitsuki Begins

Boruto lands in a forest far from the village, thinking he has escaped. However, Mitsuki has tracked him down using a snake he planted on Boruto earlier. Mitsuki appears, fully ready to kill the person he believes stole his "sun."

Boruto tells Shikamaru he has to go because he has some business to attend to. He draws his sword as Mitsuki enters his Sage Mode. The chapter ends with the two friends facing off, setting the stage for an epic battle in the next chapter.
