Boruto 2 BV Ch29: Momoshiki Has Returned !

Welcome back, guys! Look, I am currently traveling, but the new Boruto chapter has just dropped, and there is no way I am missing it.

That is what you call dedication, right? So, I am sitting here outside to eat, but let’s get straight into Chapter 29. You might remember in the last chapter, the village was under attack, and now we are diving right back into the action.

Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chapter 29 EXPLAINED

Boruto and Momoshiki's Deal

The chapter starts with a conversation between Boruto and Momoshiki. This isn't happening in the present; it is a flashback to when Boruto first met up with him. Boruto tells Momoshiki that he is going to need his powers to defeat Jura.

Momoshiki wants to confirm if Boruto is telling the truth about giving up his body after Jura is defeated. Boruto insists he is serious. Since their minds and thoughts are linked, Momoshiki can tell that Boruto isn't lying. It is a desperate alliance formed to save the village.

Momoshiki realizes that if Boruto dies, he dies too, so he has no choice but to help. However, Momoshiki makes it clear that freedom isn't free. His payment for this help involves killing Jura first, and then he plans to kill Kawaki immediately after.

Boruto's Flying Raijin and New Jutsu

Back in the present, Boruto activates his Karma. The Shinju clones are furious and start attacking him, but Boruto is ready. He uses a Shadow Clone to trick them and then comes in with a Rasengan to blow them away.

Boruto isn't just running or jumping; he is using the Flying Raijin technique to teleport instantly behind his enemies. He slashes through them with incredible speed. It is amazing to see him use Sasuke's techniques, like the shuriken jutsu that curves to hit its target.

After teleporting, Boruto prepares a massive attack. He creates a huge Rasengan, not just a normal one, but a Super Giant Rasengan that completely wipes out the remaining enemies in the area. The action here is absolutely top-tier.

Kawaki Enters the Battle

Meanwhile, in another part of the village, the Shinju clones are realizing their numbers are dropping. They try to regroup to find their target, but Kawaki intercepts them. He is standing on a rooftop and drops a black rod right into one of their eyes.

Kawaki is not messing around today. He transforms his arm using his scientific ninja tool abilities and tears through the enemies. He is stronger and faster, using his Karma to boost his power. He summons multiple black rods and decapitates three enemies in a single swing.

The Interrogation and Konohamaru's Lie

The scene shifts to the interrogation room where Mitsuki is being questioned about Boruto. The investigator suspects Mitsuki helped Boruto escape because the cuffs weren't broken. Just as things get heated, Konohamaru steps in with a shocking claim.

Konohamaru lies to the investigator, saying that he was the one who forgot to set the four-digit lock code on the cuffs. He takes the blame completely, stating it was his fault Boruto was free. He is doing this to protect Shikamaru and keep the village united.

Himawari and Team 10 Fight Back

Back in the village, the Shinju clones are threatening civilians. Himawari steps up to protect them. She isn't just fighting in her base form; her eyes change, and it looks like she is using power related to Kurama. She dodges attacks with impressive agility.

She isn't alone, though. Team 10 arrives to back her up. Shikadai uses his Shadow Paralysis Jutsu to bind the enemies, while Cho-Cho prepares a massive attack to smash them. The teamwork here is flawless, and they handle the threat with ease.

However, despite their victory, Koji Kashin watches from the sidelines and doesn't look happy. He likely knows something about the future that we don't, hinting that a bigger danger is still approaching. This chapter was an absolute 100 out of 10!
